ACT introduces the Nine9 i- Centre range of indexable centre drills.

The indexable alternative to solid carbide centre drills, offers High Speed & High Feed Rates. For example a 3.15mm diameter drill running @ 6000rpm with a feed rate of 600 mm/min (0.1mm/rev).

Costs can be dramatically reduced with the excellent repeatability, with the insert positioned by two locating pins (0.02mm radial direction) and the Easy Tool Length Setting, axial position accuracy of the insert is 0.05mm (.002”), which makes tool length resetting unnecessary when changing the insert.

Latest coating technologies are added to the specifically engineered and ground insert geometries to enhance performance for these centering applications. Through coolant supply to the insert increases performance and extends tool life.

Inserts are available in both Ansi 60 and Din 332 forms.
